  • A memory within a dream April 27th 2013, 5:30 pm

    A dream as real as a memory or yesterday. The yellow sun sets on this day in the west as the orange full moon brings upon the night in the east. Stars shine above the night in an eternal dance. The man who I dreamt about every night since my new life began laid underneath a withered willow tree. A name whispered in my mind, "Antony..." I sprinted toward him tearing blood out of my red eyes. Where there should have been a heartbeat, it did not flutter. Where there should have been breathing, it did not inhale. His body was stone cold and frozen. His spirit was in the Underworld. I loved him, and he was gone.

    I saw him. The man, he was in my dream. I do not know him. Why is he there? I remember his bronze hair and dark chocolate eyes. I do not say anything about him, not even to my little sisters. In my dream, I knew him. Especially him name, Antony. He knew me. We kissed. I remember his lips upon mine as if it was from a deep memory. I have to forget him. He is not real, but what is real? I have had several lives, but I cannot see any of the distant memories except for him.
